Yzkor

A plaque depicting the Jews getting of the charts of trains upon arriving to concentration camps. Behind it, a list of the names of all the Venetian Jews who perished that way.
The title of the photo, “Yizkor” is a Hebrew word which means a prayer for the dead.
Many synagogues recite Yizkor for the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust and have no one left to recite Kaddish or Yizkor for them.
