Drop The Anchor by DamaInNero Drop The Anchor by DamaInNero

During my trip to Trieste last spring, I had the unique chance to visit the French three-masted barque, Belem, which was docked for a couple of days in the harbour.
She had quite an adventurous life, mostly for sugar transportation in the West Indies. She was launched on June 10th 1896 and had her maiden voyage on July 31, 1896, to Montevideo and Belém, Brasil.
